Modern way of life has contributed to the great increase of obesity. More and more people of all ages struggle to lose weight. Frequently, there is no result or they regain the lost weight.

The basic feature of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is that it helps people change their way of thinking so that they change their behavior and actions. The Weight Loss Support Program, applied in my office, is based on the principles of CBT.

Weight Loss Support Program

  • It lasts 6 weeks (1 session/week)
  • It does not propose a specific diet but it helps you choose the right diet for you.
  • It teaches you the skills that are necessary to stick to your diet, to lose weight and keep it up.
  • It teaches you how to identify and respond to common thoughts that sabotage your effort.
  • It prepares you for the difficult moments that you will want to eat something you are not supposed to and how to cope with these moments.
  • It helps you solve practical problems.
  • It teaches you the skills you need to maintain your ideal weight forever.
